I might watch the first couple of episodes. The lead actors look game so it could be a decent show – and perfect for the CW. I am a die-hard LOST fan so it’s great to see Boone…er Ian Somerhalder again.
And it has vampires. Awesome.
I’m totally going to give it a shot, I can’t resist checking out a tv vampire show and actually usually give anything supernatural a shot. Ian Somerhalder rocks, I will admit the fact that he’s in it swerved it from a maybe-I’ll-check-it-out to a definite-lock.
I strained a bit trying to pinpoint where I’d seen Ian before. And then it hit me.
You gonna leave us hanging Marina?
Woops. Ian. I remember him from Lost!
Aha! I shoulda known…
Also,
Thanks for the link to the book online. I just finished reading – it is goes superfast and ends on an abrupt cliffhanger.
I can see that it would make a fun series especially the spooky elements.
As far as the characters go, looks like they only made a few changes. One best friend (Bonnie) and one “frenemy” (Caroline). Apparently there is some talk about introducing the character of Meredith later…
It makes sense that they made the lead a brunette since they cast a blonde as Caroline – the opposite of BtVS.
Also, Margaret (the little sister) is now Jeremy (the slightly younger and troubled brother).
I’m curious to see how this unfolds.
