Heck no! I'm watching everything - except pirated stuff. I'm not scanning the internet, but I'm looking at stuff that falls in my lap. I have to say, though, they are being clever about it, performing this complicated dance between showing a few things that fans will get excited about and trying to encourage skeptics to give it a chance. I think it's brilliant to show a bit of the Volturi and the wolves (but not ALL the wolves) to emphasize the action. The trailers have this "epic" feel, like there's something at stake here. The other thing I noticed is that they are not trotting out Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson at every turn, instead they are letting Taylor Lautner be the spokesperson. I'm sure they'll save it for right before the opening, but I think it helps with their previous media overexposure.

I caught the wolfpack/transformation clip but skipped the Volturi clip and since I didn't catch Scream Awards, missed all of that as well. I think I'm doing pretty good!

How about you Wray - any luck steering clear?

I've avoided the last trailer but I couldn't pull myself away from the clips on the Scream Awards. Sigh. Less than a month to go!

Excellent film choice Wray. I love that film. After listening to the new Medow theme which is included on the NM Soundtrack, I'm convinced he's going to do much more than justice to the score. I'm very excited to hear it!

Oh, yeah, this is completely unrelated but I watched "The Painted Veil" this weekend (it just happened to be on TV). I've seen this movie multiple times and always love the score, but as I was watching the credits through tears, I noticed it was composed by ...Alexandre Desplat. Always love a man who can make me cry ;)

Oh, happy to hear you are watching, and even better enjoying, The Vampire Diaries Wray! Sounds like there is consensus about the music, maybe they will tone it down (as they seemed to with the smoke). Shows not really seems to listen to their fanbase now so it's good when people speak up.

I don't think it's too soon for the reveal either, so far they've come up with great context based on, inspired by or stuff that has nothing to do with the book so I feel like it's pretty fair game at this point.

Good call on Vicky being there but not being Matt. How quickly memory fades (and, I lent the books to my Mom :) ).

Great call on the Moonlight reveal Wray. You're absolutely right on that. And wow... I never made the connection between Steven R. McQueen and THE Steve McQueen. That's crazy!

I have also been enjoying the show - it's kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I don't think I'm in the intended demographic, but I enjoy smart writing and so far it's been pretty clever. Ian Somerhalder seems to be having a blast playing the unrepentant bad boy. The cast works well together and it's just a fun show. That said the music IS too much (I agree Marina) but I didn't know if that was just me.

You guys mentioned whether or not it was too soon for the big reveal...I don't think so. The drama is really between the brothers and Elena. If the whole town found out - that would be another story. Moonlight also made the big reveal early - episode #2 in fact - and it worked just fine.

There was a "Vicky" in the books, but it wasn't "Matt's" sister.

At first I didn't like "Jeremy's" storyline because I thought it was too cliche, but the actor sold me. He's got some charm. Can't believe he's the late Steve McQueen's grandson!
