I’m mostly in the dark on this one – I think all I know came about him was from a short film called “One of Those Days” by Hattie Dalton where a man is mistaken as him. Totally weird!

All of my knowledge of Vlad is limited to reading and a few docs. It’s been years since I’ve seen anything on the figure which on one hand is surprising considering the current trend of vampires and on the other isn’t so surprising considering the trend is more geared towards the romantic aspects rather than the history.

I watched a made for TV movie about Vlad the Impaler a few years ago on the History Channel – sounds much like what Summit is describing. Funny thing is that it starred Rudolf Martin, who played Dracula in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in Season 5. In addition to that, the same actor played a college professor and wannabe vampire in “Moonlight”.

There’s always been fascination with Vlad Tepes, but interesting timing and choice for Summit…

Wow. Norm Wilner. A guy who doesn’t like Twilight and who is worried about those poor teenage girls – how unusual! I’m so glad people like him are around to set us all straight.
