Episode 41 – Postponed for a Week

Posted on February 28, 2010

Due to unforeseen circumstances (namely the Olympics), we were unable to connect to record this week’s show so we are taking an “Olympic Break”. We’ll be back with our regularly scheduled show next week!

  1. Wray Said,

Totally off-topic, but I just finished watching “Little Ashes”. It’s uneven as a film – wanting to go too many places at once, but an interesting subject. I have to say the two leads are really compelling to watch. I only mention it here because it co-stars Rob Pattinson and I was surprised and pleased with his performance. He really did have the more difficult role and was largely unschooled, so I gave him a good deal of credit. There were a couple of scenes that were particularly strong. Who knew?

  2. Shannon the Movie Moxie Said,

    Hey Wray!

I’m totally with you on this one. The leads were really compelling as you say, and that is what makes the film. I think Robert Pattinson did a great job with his performance in it, and the guy who played Lorca was great.

I was over the top impressed with Little Ashes – and this is coming from being a huge Dali fan. The story and relationships were interesting and I loved the art direction, music and sound. Geez, now I want to get it! I know it’s out on DVD. Might be time for some shopping :)

  3. Wray Said,

Again, off-topic, but what’s your take on the production issues with Eclipse? Bad sign?

  4. Shannon the Movie Moxie Said,

Ah, there are production issues on Eclipse? I had no idea… I must go investigate!
