I'm totally with you on this one. The leads were really compelling as you say, and that is what makes the film. I think Robert Pattinson did a great job with his performance in it, and the guy who played Lorca was great. I was over the top impressed with Little Ashes - and this is coming from being a huge Dali fan. The story and relationships were interesting and I loved the art direction, music and sound. Geez, now I want to get it! I know it's out on DVD. Might be time for some shopping :) Hey Wray!

It's uneven as a film - wanting to go too many places at once, but an interesting subject. I have to say the two leads are really compelling to watch. I only mention it here because it co-stars Rob Pattinson and I was surprised and pleased with his performance. He really did have the more difficult role and was largely unschooled, so I gave him a good deal of credit. There were a couple of scenes that were particularly strong. Who knew?
